Of Homecoming

"You're beautiful!" I smile at your greens. " And your waters, I've missed you."
"You're back", you smile at me. "You know, home will always take you."

In Seek Of Permission

If I told you I understand, you couldn't love me too.

Then would you please, let me love you?

Of Goodbyes

It's a small small world.
We will meet again.
You won't remember me.
But I'll love you just the same.

The Thing About Pain

There are only two ways to get rid of pain. And one of them is to feel it.
To kill it, leaves a stench.

Motion Blur

These days I can't keep up....
Perhaps the world's too fast for me, or maybe it's too slow.
The days fly by in seconds, but the years are all the same.
And nothing really catches my attention, since you've been gone.

Until The Day I Leave

You can take me for granted. It's okay, I don't mind at all.
I'll be right here, just in case, as long as I am yours.
But the day I leave, I'll leave without a word. And I won't be found.
Then again, that is, that is not for now.

Never mind

There were things I wanted to tell you. Things I had in mind. But you'd only smile and take me for a child. It's okay. Never mind.

A Note Of Thanks To pleasefindthis

http://www.iwrotethisforyou.me/
Here's a blog I hope you will all check out. And then read the book - I Wrote This For You. For just about anything I write has been influenced by 'pleasefindthis / me'. So Thank you 'pleasefindthis' for much love, and spreading love and goodwill on a regular basis. Don't know of  anyone who did the job any better. And to everyone else, I'm sure you'll enjoy the read. :)

The Who I'd Become

And I'll replace all my photo frames with serene landscapes.

Erase my way out of lives, quietly, violently.

Hope to be forgotten, cause you forgot me.

Cause no one else matters, or ever will.

The Funny Thing Is

No matter how many times I promise myself I should give up, I don't.
And the world says let go, when I'm holding on and hold on, when I'm letting go.

If You'd Let Me In

If you'd let me in your heart, I'd have a look around.
Replace what is broken, and look for what was mine.
I promise I wont steal a thing, I'd just have a look around.
Look around and then leave it safe and sound.

For Only You.

Music - overture by Aurah

The Start Of A War

They tell you nothing matters. No love. No ties. No heartbreaks. No memories. No feelings. Not you. Not me. Not them. Nothing. And then, No lives.

The Sunshine Dealer

Every morning he would wake with a little tune in his head. Then he'd hum that tune to himself and walk up to his secret place. His was a land of fresh, abundant sunshine washed through with just enough oxygen. And then he'd sit by the day collecting sunshine in little glass bottles. He'd drink a little himself and get a little tipsy. He'd smile at strangers who would almost always smile back. They would know the lyrics to his song and join in. And in the dark hours of the night, he would exchange his little bottles for a kindness returned. He had a thriving business. And if you'd ever visited him at home, you'd see how it shone. You'd see how he shone.

Here's A Sign

I know you've been looking for them.
In words. In your thought patterns. In your dreams.
In the morning newspaper, at the front page.
And then, casually flipping over to the horoscopes section.
In the utterances of a random stranger.
In the speed of the days.
In the weather. The taste of food. In every expression.
You've gone over them a thousand times.
You've studied each line, curve and symbol carefully.
And you've almost figured it all out.
But you'll go over them once again.
Maybe you've got it all wrong.
But maybe you've got them all right.
What then?
Well, here's a sign.

What You Had To Say

I want you to hear me out. But I couldn't say a word if you'd listen.

Green And Blue

You were neither a lover, nor a friend. Not an enemy or a foe.
Yet when you left, there was I. Painted green and blue.

How You Make Me Feel

I don't know how you make me feel inside. But I hope, what I'm feeling is life.

You Don't Know The Way

Don't say you love me. You'll never get there. I saw you that day, when you destroyed the map. You thought no one had.

Of Love, Madness And Silence

Today, I searched every wall for your silhouette. Every room for your smell. And then I braved my way through the crowd. Who were those people, love? Who were they? They were nice, I suppose. Meant well. But I couldn't stand that din, I'd rather be here....with this screaming silence.

A Place For You

And this could be all you'd ever dreamt of. A place where you'd live. With everything you wanted. And it's people, you would pick.

Right Here

Look after yourself. Fare thee well. I'll be right here watching, till you turn the corner. And I'll be right here waiting, till you return.

An Apology

And if it bothered you much, I was only leaving.

All I Need

All I need is all you have, And all you couldn't give.

This Is From A Dream

This is from a dream or perhaps a memory.
I don't know if you remember, but you were there.
You sat on a chariot. And the gods hailed your name.
All around you were people rejoicing.... Singing. Dancing. Remember them?
I know you've had this dream. I was there and I wished you well.
And everyone loved you. Yes, everyone did.
Cause you...you'd managed to love them all, love them all so well.

You're Beautiful

I've told you a thousand times. And I will tell you a thousand times more.
And then again a few more times, till you believe...You're Beautiful!

Little Wishes On An Afternoon

Again this afternoon, I laid out the chairs and poured some coffee.
No, I wasn't expecting you.
And here I sat and composed to you a love song, hoping you were eavesdropping.

Please Don't Forget

"I love you."
"Thanks. But why do you say it so often?"
"Cause people forget."
"Oh!....Maybe you should say it more often, then."
"Well...how bad is your memory?"

Set Fire To The Sea

And in the chaos of a thousand colors in her heart, her face was a calm white. But if you're wondering how she got along...She set fire to the sea.

The Tomb Of Hearts

And, if you're wondering how they lost their all....They'd hid themselves inside a safety vault, till the walls came crumbling down.

No, Seriously

Seriously, I'm tired of this game.
Seriously, I'd rather be anywhere else than here.
Seriously, I've known your shame.
Seriously, there's something wrong with the world today.
Seriously, don't take me seriously.

A Beautiful Mess

She was awkward. She was strange. Nothing was quite right with her.
But oh!...If only you had seen her.... she was beautiful.

This Little Light Of Mine

For a lamp is what it is, a consolation in the dark.

I Miss You

I've searched the skies and all the constellations, the air I'm breathing, for you.
And you're there. You're everywhere. Everywhere, is you.
But, it doesn't help to say.....I miss you. I miss you.

A Weary Friend

She tried reading the clock, straining her eyes.
'Oh well...time and I never really got along well.' she said resigned.

I Don't Love You

I know it for a fact, I do, that I don't love you
Till my nerves and veins overflow, with the magic that was you.

Of Stolen Music

And now, there are songs which I can no longer bear. I fear music. Must it all remind me of you?

Worrying Words

You worry if you've said too much. I worry they aren't enough.
Cause I'd still burn the world down, if you ask me to.

Cause You're Poetry In Motion

I don't know why but I can't walk away. Believe me, I've tried, but I'm right behind you.
Following you. Watching you. Wondering where you'll take me.
